How to redeem

1. To access your reward, visit https://www.myprepaidcenter.com/home. and enter the redemption code received.

2. Proceed through the steps for creating a profile, which will give you access to your virtual 16-digit card number, expiration date, security information, where your card can be used, available balance, transaction history, and optional email / text alerts.

3. What the codes are for: You have purchased codes that can be redeemed for virtual prepaid cards. Each code can be redeemed on their website for a valid 16-digit card number and 3-digit security code, which can then be used to shop online.

1/ Does a Visa Gift Card expire?

Make sure to redeem your unique code within 6 months after the purchase. Once redeemed, your instant Visa Card is also valid for a period of 6 months. Check your card details at any time in your MyPrepaidCenter account.


2/ How can I check my Visa eGift Card balance?

Just log into your MyPrepaidCenter to view the remaining balance and transaction history of your card(s).


3/ Is a virtual Visa Gift Card reloadable?

No, your virtual card is not reloadable and cannot be transferred. Pay with it as often as you’d like until the balance reaches zero.


4/ Can I use this Visa Card outside the US.?

Yes! There is a 2% conversion fee for any purchase made outside the US. It cannot be used in some prohibited countries.


5/ Are there any fees when using a Prepaid Visa Gift Card?

When making a purchase outside the United States, a foreign transaction fee of up to 2% will be added to the purchase amount. In addition, some merchants may charge a small transaction fee, conversion fee (if applicable), or holding/authorization fee. Be sure your balance can cover any possible fees to avoid declined payments.


6/ Are there any restrictions when paying with an instant Visa Gift Card?

Your Visa Gift Card cannot be used for recurring bill payments, memberships, subscriptions, hotel and/or car rental reservations, or getting cash at ATMs. Depending on the merchant, split tender payments may be declined, extra fees or restrictions may apply. Be sure the prepaid balance of your card can cover the total amount of your order. It can also not be used in these prohibited countries.


7/ Why would a Visa Gift Card be declined?

  • The card might get declined if:
  • The purchase price is higher than the balance on the card. Note that, if you shop internationally, a foreign transaction fee of up to 2% will be put on top of the purchase amount.
  • The merchant doesn’t accept Visa Debit Cards or Discover® Cards (U.S.). 
  • The billing address you entered at the merchant website is not the same as you entered when you created the virtual card in your account. 
  • It is used for a recurring bill, subscriptions or reservation, which put a hold on the available funds for up to 30 days.
  • You try to use it in a prohibited country.
  • You choose ‘debit’ instead of ‘credit’ when given the option.
